- REC PEEL-polyesteresterketone is one of the most highly effective polymers in the world. PEEK has exceptional properties of mechanical, thermal and chemical resistance, which makes it a suitable material for most places where other plastics simply will not cope.
The material has excellent thermal properties, which provides higher strength and rigidity at elevated temperatures;
Excellent hydrolytic stability;
High resistance to cracking when exposed to the environment;
Excellent dimensional stability (low creep sensitivity and low, uniform coefficient of thermal expansion);
To print the material, it is necessary to have an all-metal extruder and a closed thermal chamber at the 3D printer.
To increase the adhesion, a perfostol or polyethyrimid film is needed.
Before printing be sure to dry the plastic at a temperature of 120°C, >4 hours.
