REC FRICTION is a very abrasion-resistant polymer made on the basis of polyamide. A material with excellent thermal, chemical and hydrolysis resistance. A wide range of operating temperatures (from -60°C to +90°C) allows the material to work in highly loaded mechanisms.
A material characterized by increased strength, heat resistance and abrasion resistance. It is able to withstand cyclic loads. It retains its characteristics in a wide temperature range. It is soluble in concentrated sulfuric acid, in phenol, cresol, chloral and trifluoroethanol. It is resistant to alcohols, alkalis, oils and gasoline.
The disadvantages of polyamides include relatively high moisture absorption and low light resistance.
