Friction (PA)
Friction plastic - a very abrasion-resistant polymer made on the basis of polyamide. Flexible material with excellent thermal, chemical and hydrolysis resistance. A wide range of operating temperatures (from -60°C to +90°C) allows the material to work in highly loaded mechanisms.
FEATURES OF FRICTION PLASTIC
REC Friction is a material characterized by increased strength and heat resistance, high chemical resistance, abrasion resistance, good anti-friction properties. It is able to withstand cyclic loads. It retains its characteristics in a wide temperature range. Retains elasticity at low temperatures. It is soluble in concentrated sulfuric acid, as well as in formic and monochloroacetic acids, in phenol, cresol, chloral and trifluoroethanol. It is resistant to the action of alcohols, alkalis, oils, gasoline. The disadvantages of polyamide include relatively high moisture absorption and low light resistance.
