High-temperature polymers - these are plastics that have better thermal and mechanical properties than conventional and engineering plastics. These plastics are able to withstand operating temperatures above 150 ° C. Some of these materials have excellent resistance to chemicals, acids and solvents.
Ordinary (everyday) plastics are used for low-efficiency disposable items (prototypes, vases, key chains), engineering filaments are used for parts that need to work for a longer period of time (automotive parts), and high-temperature filaments are used for things that need to work in very difficult conditions (airplanes, F1 cars).

In most cases, plastics that have higher melting points are superior to conventional filament, mechanically. This is expressed either in higher strength, hardness, or impact resistance.

Our materials PEEK, PEKK, PEI, PSU and others were created specifically for use in” critical " products.

Plastic for 3D printing is a very light material compared to metals. But the operating temperatures and strength are also significantly lower than that of metals. Using a filament from this category, and in particular heat-resistant plastic, you can achieve excellent results in terms of efficiency and lightness. The use of such new materials through 3D printing will bring production to a new level, which will give a big jump to your products.

Print such plastic is necessary on specially prepared printers with a high heating temperature of the extruder, a heated chamber and a heated table. All this is necessary because of the tendency of the filament to deform when printing.

As soon as the molten filament leaves the nozzle of the extruder, its impact on the external environment leads to rapid cooling. This rapid cooling naturally causes the plastic to shrink. Over time, the thermal stress created by this compression overcomes the strength of the material, which leads to deformation.

Deformation occurs when thermal stress accumulates, especially in the corners, as a result of which the base layer of the print is torn off from the printing table.
The use of a heated table and a heated chamber reduces the effects of deformation by reducing distortions caused by thermal stress.
Applying special adhesive materials will also help in printing the first layers.

Buy you can buy plastic in our company at an affordable price and with a quality guarantee. All coils in this section are designed for drying the filament at high temperatures. Drying plastic is an important procedure before printing on a 3D printer.
