- REC HIPS is a high-strength polystyrene. Despite the name, this material is more fragile than ABS and it is recommended to use it for printing supports in models made of ABS plastic.
It is soluble in citrus oil (D-Limonene). Each coil is packed in a reusable vacuum bag with silica gel, so that the plastic does not lose its properties during storage.
