Industrial 3D Printer SkyOne designed for printing with modern plastics with a melting point of up to 260°C. The principle of its functioning is based on the technology of Fused deposition modeling, the layer-by-layer formation of a product made of molten plastic. The printer is implemented according to the dual SCARA (Selective Compliance Assembly Robot Arm) scheme, two motors control the levers that move the extruder in the XY plane. The feed along the application axis is carried out using a ball screw transmission. The SCARA scheme gives an advantage in printing speed over printers using Cartesian coordinates, but at the same time, the software for the SkyOne 3D printer is more complex than for printers designed according to the traditional scheme.
